It’s not very often that a snow day gets called in Missoula; however, last night the school district started making automated calls informing students and parents that the probability was high today would be a snow day and sure enough, no school this morning. We were scheduled to drive to Pasco, Washington, to a soccer tournament today as well, but the bus company made the prudent decision to not fight the elements. So, we elected to spend some time together horsing around in the neighborhood common area sledding. That is, after I spent the morning and early afternoon clearing snow from the back deck and driveway. Hopefully some skiing coming up as well. It’s five thirty on Friday and the snow and wind has been steady since mid-day on Thursday with more supposedly to come. Whoo hoo!
